Hands-on or supportive care can be provided in private residences; hospitals; and rehabilitation, assisted living, and long term care facilities. The primary function of the home health aide is to assist individuals with personal care and activities of daily living, including:

  • Physical care for activities like bathing, dressing, and toileting
